2011 Peugeot RCZ GT THP 200 bhp – in Black with full leather GT Spec – FSH, Timing Done

The car is metallic black and is high spec GT model, with stitched leather interior, doors and dash. 

I’ve tried to keep the car as standard as possible but some upgrades are a Piper Cross air filter and door mirror covers. Currently on 85,086 miles. MOT until February 2023. 1.6L Turbo engine which does 0-60 in 7.4 secs and averages 40mpg.

Timing replaced in January 2022 and only covered 200 miles since then.

I’ve owned the car since December 2017 and have loved it. I wanted a petrol model and tired a few 156 BHP models but felt they were underpowered to what I’d been used to before (Audi TT) – the 200 BHP one is a great match for the TT. It’s very fast, has good acceleration, comfy ride and very good fuel economy. I have been averaging 40mpg on both local and motorway journeys. Cheapish to tax at £200 p/a and insurance costs me £212 p/a. 

Work I have had done on the car includes: 

It’s been well looked after –  EDT Engine and turbo flush service, regularly serviced with 0/30W oils. Owners manual and handbook and single key present, and the log book in my name. I’ve had the car fully rust-proofed and under-sealed at JR Classics, which means it has been fully cleaned of any underneath dirt etc and had all surfaces treated, and cavity sections water-proofed against rust using Waxoyl, so it should be rust free for a long time to come. The car has been looked after using PoorBoys, Autoglym and Demon cleaning products and polishes. The leathers have been kept using leather polish too. The plastic lenses can fade on these cars, and I had mine refurbished so they’re clear and brighter. There is good tread left on the tyres too. I had replacement number plates made (looked fresher) but haven’t fitted these yet but will include in the sale.

Things to mention – there are the usual little marks etc you’d expect (it is 11 years old) and the alloys would benefit from a refurb. I’ve tried to factor in the cost (approx. £200) in pricing the car now. There is also some cracking on the inner plastic of the front bumper, which you can see in the photos. This was due to be replaced with an aftermarket grille but it never arrived during the pandemic and I’ve not around got to looking at it since – again, I’ve tried to reflect this in the price (I think tit’s approx. £80-100 for a replacement one).

As I say reluctant sale but I need to as I can’t now fit my little boy in it too well. I’m happy to sell to someone who’s looking for one of the brilliant cars.
